Disneyland Paris - Day 3

If you haven't read the post before this one you might want to scroll ahead to that one first. That post is the first one on our Paris Trip!

That morning we woke up a little earlier got ready and headed out on our Adventure of a day. It started off with us wanting to go to the little pastry shop around the corner from the hotel for breakfast. When we got there, they were closed (this was a Saturday morning).

So, we headed back to the hotel to eat a few snacks we had in the room. Then we were off again, this time to the train station. We knew we had a long train ride and were not real sure how to go about getting our tickets. All the train stations have little kiosks where you can get your tickets yourself, or there are also ticket offices that do tickets. We figured we would talk to the ticket office so they would get us on the right track with the right tickets. Well...you guessed it..they were closed too! We tried to use the Kiosk and found the right tickets and that is when we hit our next problem, our cards wouldn't work. Here in Europe most of the little Kiosks like that and even some of the ATM's use special cards, or else that is what I call them. Their debt and credit cards have a chip inside of them that are supposed to help them be safer when using them in these machines. The machine that we were using had to have the chip in the card so you had to use coins, yes the machine didn't even take notes (money notes). Needless to say we did not have like 30 Euro in coins, so we headed back to the hotel to see if they could help us out. Nope, they only gave us 5 Euro in coins. We ended up just getting tickets to the main train station and hoped that the ticket office there was open, we had to transfer at that station anyways so it wasn't out of the way.

Once we got to the main station we were able to get the tickets and we were finally on our way to Disney! The train ride wasn't bad it took about an hour to get out there. One thing to point out about Dsineyland Paris in February....IT'S FREEZING!!!!! Yes it was only 30* that day and the windchill was in the teens, we still had a GREAT time but it was VERY cold therefore resulting in most things being closed. It was still a really fun day but it could have been a little bit warmer!
We finally made it to Disneyland!
