Ireland - Day 4 - Wicklow Mountains

Once we all finished lunch we piled back in the cars and it the road. We headed into the Wicklow Mountains to do a little sightseeing around there. It was already starting to get cold and everything was already starting to turn brown but it was still really cool to see it all. I am so glad we got in the cars and started driving that afternoon.
Starting our drive through the Wicklow Mountains

This river runs into the lake in the next picture
Some Lake not sure the name of it

Further up on our drive we ran into a bigger river
A cool looking Valley

The river a few pictures up eventually turned into the waterfall ~ The Kirscher Family

Once again on our trip a sign that said DO NOT ENTER but we all ignored it and took pictures inside the gate
Another River at Glendalough
The B&B at Glendalough
(not sure why it decided to underline but I can't get it to go away)
The Wicklow Way is a hiking train that runs the the county of Wicklow, it takes over a week to hike the whole path
Part of the path coming into Glendalough
Entering the monastery at Glendalough

This is what Glendalough is known for

Rydon enjoying some ice cream after some sightseeing

Driving a little further up from Glendalough before turning back to head back into town

You had to watch out for sheep because they were not fenced in and would run right on the road
Once we got through sightseeing we headed back into town for dinner. We heard from a few different people that we needed to eat at Johnnie Fox's Pub, so we typed it into Garmin and headed that direction. We thought that once again we were getting lost but Garmin came through and got us there, we don't know if it was the easiest and quickest route but it worked. The food there was also really good.
