Ireland - Day 5

On our last day in Ireland we had all morning to mess around. Our flight wasn't until 5 o'clock and we didn't have to have the rental cars back till around 2:30 or so. I still had a few places to hit in downtown Dublin and everyone decided to follow along. It didn't take us long to find our last two stores so we still had more time to mess around.
The next few photo's were taken while driving through downtown Dublin

Once we finished in Dublin we decided to head back out to Dun Laoghaire. John and I were the only ones that had been out there and the others were all wanting to see the town also. By the time we got out there we only had about an hour or so to mess around. I wanted to head to the other end of town so John and I headed off, while the others took the kids to one of the many parks and let them play around.

Traffic was pretty bad on the way to the airport so we ended up getting to the car rental place a little late. But we were still doing fine at that point to make the flight. While we were at the car rental place Roy was trying to figure out some of the problems that were going on with everything that had happened the day before. They ended up making him fill out some paperwork which was making us all start to wonder if we were going to make our flight or not.

We did make it in time and we were also some of the first in line so we were all able to sit next to each other on the flight. The flight wasn't too bad at all, and there weren't as many clouds as our flight over there so we were able to see what we were flying over.

We landed in Rome on time so by the time we all gathered up our luggage and got ready to leave it was getting pretty late already. We all loaded up and headed back on the 2 hour drive home. The trip was a blast and I am so glad we got to enjoy it was some awesome friends!
