Dallas Cowboys!

October 31
For Halloween this year we enjoyed our last day in Dallas. A good friend of my dad’s has season tickets so we got with him and got their tickets for the game. This was the whole reason for the trip to Dallas in the first place. The game started at noon so we didn’t really have a lot of time to mess around that morning. We all got up, got ready and left the hotel. There was an Ihop next door to the hotel so we headed over there for a big breakfast.

After breakfast we got in the car and headed to Arlington so we could get to the stadium in plenty of time to walk around and see it all. We weren’t real sure where to park but as we were driving around the stadium we just followed all the cars in front of us. We finally started seeing parking lots that were not for season ticket holders so we were happy to find a place to park. However, the first one we came to had a sign saying the parking was $50. We didn’t want to pay that much so we kept on driving and each block the price dropped $10, so we finally parked in one that was like $20.

We then walked back up to the Stadium to start looking around. We walked around the outside of the stadium for a while and took lots of pictures then headed inside to look around. Once we got in the stadium we went to the pro shop to buy some shirts, for us and our cousins, then headed to find our seats. Our seats weren’t too bad, they were on the 40 yard line just really high. The stadium was HUGE along with the big screen tv. The tv there is the biggest HD screen in the world and I believe it. I would catch myself watching the game on it rather than down on the field.

The game as everyone knows was not good at all, but I would not have changed the experience for anything. We had so much fun and just seeing the stadium in person, it was amazing.

When the game was over (or when we left the game) we headed to the mall to eat at cheesecake factory. This was Bri’s choice of restaurant for the trip and no one else in the family disagreed. We all ate then between the 4 of us we shared 2 cheesecakes. They were both really good but I have to say mine and dad’s dolce de leche caramel was much better than mom and Bri’s red velvet cheesecake. They would disagree with me though; theirs was also good I just liked the caramel on ours.

After dinner we looked around the mall for just a few minutes then headed to Grapevine, Texas so dad could look around Bass Pro Shops. He needed a new hunting coat and didn’t want to leave Dallas without getting one. We ended up spending about an hour or so walking around the store while dad shopped. Mom had a good time taking pictures of Bri and I messing around.
The shark attacked us
Their carousel had reindeer instead of horses
The waterfall into the pond with lots of fish
A huge grizzly Bear
GO BUFFS!
Sitting in front of the little cafe
A tree made out of deer antlers
The elk were fighting so we staged a fight (I was nice to her)
Her not so much
They had a huge glass cage that had, I don't know how many, rattle snakes in it

Don't ever get on a 4-wheeler with Bri driving!
When we left Bass Pro Shops it was time to hit the road again. We ended up getting back home around 1 or so that night (next morning), needless to say dad drove most of the way by himself because the other 3 of us were passed out. The trip was so much fun it was just really fast, but I would do it again in a heartbeat.
