Engagement Party

The last couple of weeks of Johns leave were spent doing lots of wedding plans in Texas. We did get a break one afternoon and night though when mom, dad and Bri all planned an engagement party for us. It was really good chance for everyone to meet John and vice versa. We had a cook out at the house with hamburgers and hot dogs, and had family and friends over. We ended up having most of the family and some close friends there to celebrate with us. It was a pretty chilly night but it didn't stop many of the guests from playing redneck golf outside, and having a good time. It didn't stop any of the little ones from running around outside all night either.
