John’s Uncle has season tickets to the Minnesota Wild hockey games and they were out of town so they let us use their tickets for the game. We both really like hockey so we were very thankful that they let us use them. The Wild played the Calgary Flames and their record for the season was wild 3 flames 0, but it didn’t work out that well last night. The Wild lost 2-5 but it was still a good game and John and I had a lot of fun.
When the game was over we had planned on going home through Faribault to see John’s grandmother. When we got there we were greeted with some of John’s family. His Aunt Carrie her husband Matt and their kids Katelyn and Quinn, his Aunt Annette and her daughter Michelle, and John’s mom and sister were all there. John’s grandmother had made some chicken and a bunch of sides, it was really good, so we all ate and just caught up with everyone.
We left there around 8:30 and headed home, we didn’t have anything planned for the night so we just relaxed at his house for a couple of hours and headed to bed.
