June 30
We started off the day by Megan meeting us early that morning at the hotel to get ready and head out for some sightseeing. Once we were all ready we left the hotel and headed to the Tube station which was about a 2 min walk from the hotel and started our day.

Our first stop for the morning was Piccadilly Circus. We thought it would be a nice walk to get off the tube there and walk through some of the shops on the way to Trafalgar Square. When we made it to Trafalgar Square they were setting up for Canada Day so there was stuff going on everywhere. So we took a few pics and took off again.
We told Bri she had to have her picture taken in a phone booth and this was the face we got. She said it stunk
She was able to smile for a quick pic

We decided it was time to eat lunch and remembered there being a Rainforest Cafe around Piccadilly somewhere. So we headed back that direction for lunch. They weren't open yet we had like 20 min to mess around so we found this really cute store called Apricot. All three girls wallets were wishing the restaurant had been open. We all ended up buying some really cute new clothes. By the time we finished shopping the restaurant was open so we sat down for a nice cool lunch.

When lunch was over we decided to try the London Aquarium. I had read about it and it sounded pretty neat and Megan had heard it was nice. So we headed across town to enjoy looking at lots of different fish. It wasn't as good as the Denver Aquarium but it was still fun.
On our way to the aquarium we walked by the London Eye

The Jelly Fish tank was really cool, It had changing lights around the edge so the jelly fish changed colors with the lights.

There was a glass floor and you could walk over the shark tank. Mine and Megans feet with sharks swimming under us

By the time we finished at the aquarium it was time to head back to the hotel and grab everything for the concert. We weren't sure how long it would take to get all the way to the other side of London so we wanted to leave plenty of time. We hopped on what was about an 45 min to hour long tube ride and finally made it to the O2 arena. We ended up getting there a little over an hour early, so we bought some shirts and found a restaurant in the arena to eat at.
Walking from the aquarium to the tube station, we stopped for a quick photo op with Big Ben

After dinner the doors had finally opened so we headed in to find out seats. We were up kind of high but the seats were still not bad at all. The first band to play, don't even remember their name, was not all that good. We were all pretty bored during their performance, but Jack's concert was really good. He did however, forget the words to a couple of the songs, but besides that it was a good fun concert.

When the concert was over there was a mad house trying to get out. There were thousands of people all trying to leave the O2 and head all in the same direction. Most people do not drive in London because you have to pay on congestion fee of 8 pounds every time your car goes in London, so everyone uses the tube. Lets just say that was the most crowded, cramped tube ride I have ever been on. After riding for about 10 min or so we made it to a stop where lots of people finally got off so there was a little more room to move around. We finally made it back to our hotel around mid-night, and headed to bed to get some rest for another long fun filled day of sightseeing the next day.
